i screamed, and God spoke to me

part one of a two part poem series inspired by my one true love my eternal muse

i sat here crying for my mistakes, the pain the anger, the sadness in my soul
i sat here with a razor and a torch alone and i screamed aloud to the heavens
to the one i once called lord
God! please just kill me now, let me die and let me go to hell
as i prepared to touch metal to skin, and let my blood reveal my sin
a voice came down
it was him
it was the one true god
this is what he said 
this is what he told me

 

Cut slash burn

Sir wait in line

Just wait your turn

Your soul is already mine

Whats the rush

Whats the hurry

Obviously you don’t believe they care enough

Is that why you have this anger, this fury

Is that why you cry

Is that why you run

Is that why you asked me to let you die

Why can’t you have fun

I’ve given you life

I’ve given you joy

I gave you an angel who could be your wife

And you really think with your heart I would toy

You really think I put you here to hurt

You really think I mean for you to have this pain

You really think you should end up in the dirt

Why, what would I have to gain

I’m your father

I’m all powerful

Why would I bother

To cut you with a blade that’s dull

I could strike you down

I could smite you

But then I would only frown

What do you really want me to do

I know, you know deep in your heart

I know how its my angel you want

I know you wish to never be apart

I know your regrets in your head they do haunt

Lay your worries to rest

Please let me help

Don’t look at yourself with such detest

She doesn’t see you as that whelp

She sees something you never did

I promise she thinks you are strong

I know your feelings you have hid

You are wrong

She loves you until you’re dead

She loves you as much as you love her

Don’t listen to those voices in your head

I ask you, what are you waiting for

Show her you care

Like you do when shes not around

And its just you, and I, up here

Tell her the things you tell me in bounds

Let her know you need her in your life

Let her know you would give her the earth

Let her know shes the light through your strife

Let her know you don’t care that she can’t give birth

Tell her what you tell me

Tell her the reasons your heart bleeds

Because sir, cant you just see

You are also simply, all she needs

Be together

Be strong and make it through

You can handle all this muggy stormy weather

After all I know you

My son

Go forth and give her your all

Trust me, even if it fails you’ve won

You cant climb out of this pit, if you are to afraid to fall

So I say again my child

Go to my angel daughter

Be happy, be wild

Just remember this time, don’t let your love falter
