Blind pockets

Blind pockets

A Poem by JRGene

How would you explain the feeling
to someone who's never shed any tears.
It is like the hummingbird
who tries to teach a bear
the art of hovering:

Deep down
the emptiness of words overwhelms your senses;
everything you say floats in its little bubble
only to disappear on the following frame,
- and eyes like to glance quickly through the drawings
without stopping to show a hand or extend a smile.-

Very different the story will be
when kings and peasants open their gates to travelers,
assist those in need
and sit down to teach those
who've never read a novel or glanced though a play

It cannot be explained,
it cannot be seen, heard or perceived
by those not willing to sense it.

All that i left is to hope
to love, to smile.
