Hands

Hands

A Poem by ElizaB

A pale face,
Arms around.
Daydream state
As bells sound.
Tick away
My life
Today.
Tock won't save
My heart
Today.
Damage done.
My world apart,
No longer one.
Knees to chest
Beneath the sun
A beautiful mess,
All that's left.
A lost light,
You know the rest.

Review: I like this. It's simple and has a good flow.
But
"Pull" broke the flow. You could have used just "knees to chest". The same message would have been sent.

But I like this.
