Teardrops

Teardrops

A Poem by Jmartins

Teardrops
Many teardrops on my pillow
Many teardrops on my bed
Many teardrops on the floor
Many teardrops on my arm.
Many teardrops on the blanket
Many teardrops everywhere
You crushed me with you hurtful words thanks for all the memories when we were together..

Wow.. this one is really sad.. I have had days like that and I know being in grade 8 is really hard too from my own experience as well as watching my son prepare for grade 9.. lots of pressure. It is good to write some of those feelings down to get it out.. sadness is okay to post and you describe what you feel very well. Many poets think of teardrops like little stars falling.. you will see that on many writings.. tears are special they help us cleanse and cope.

It sounds like someone really hurt your feelings.. through words.. sometimes that is worse than a friend hitting.. friends can be so mean .. even in the adult world! You really did do a great job here portraying that.. some friends are better to keep at a safe distance.. meaning not everyone you will find in life wants to help or bring you up. You should wipe your tears.. focus on your work and future! You have a big world ahead of you.. with many doors including friendships that you will make. High school is great that way.. it's a big place with lots of choices for friends.. pick the right ones and steer clear of the ones that cause too much trouble. Sports and art are great places to meet good friends.. creatively you keep busy! Thank you for sharing.. I look forward to seeing some other writings!

wow powerful and unique yet simple so sad though yea all of us have gone through all these feelings and thats probebly the grabber and a flood of memories always comes through the readers who just remember all those nights where you thought that you could never move on without the girl but somehow we always get over it in a way even if you dont life goes on inside love is free and roaming and i still myself remember all the stuff that has happened with my first girl and im still trying to repair the damage i hope that you remember those memories because i still look back and i still laugh at them all

I loved this...It was sad, but you used repetition perfectly to convey that sadness! Very good poem.... I'm sorry that whoever really hurt you did though... I was crying when I read this...I'm trying to stop now...But I really liked it, it reminded me of me...:)
