Living in Cayley HallsA Poem by Joey IrwinThis is a poem about living at Uni in Cayley halls
The natural sounds of the sea
The birds and the wind Are outnumbered by the sounds of music Laughter and sex. The kitchen is never clean enough And the cleaners hate us for it But we don't care We're students, living life to the full The pranks we play erupt into laughs The mattresses in the hallway transform into a fort Danger tape covered doors and glitter through the peep hole We're students, living life to the full The work is tough, but we play tougher The Bursar is screaming, but we scream harder All trying to make fun and enjoy our company We're students, living life to the full Living in halls ain't tough You just need an iron stomach to cope with prison food The one brilliant thing about living in halls, in my opinion is I have made some brilliant friends And would never change them for the world!
