To Love me

To Love me

A Poem by Johanna
"

Wrote this at work today.. excited to hear what you think.

"

You tried to love me, but you didn't do it right

and now you say you want me, but only for the night

I don´t get my heart broken then come back to life

It's hunting me down, this pain

The pain you left behind

In front of me angers lightens the road

Above me clouds of regret followed

Slowing me down

You tried to love me, but you did it all wrong

and you say you want me, just because I´m gone

If a dead end has been reached the story won't go on

It's hunting me down, the shame

I guess the shame is only mine

In front of me you move on without hesitation

The heartless you never see again

I kinda like the starting of your write. Very phenomenal! It has got some potential to.. beloved by hearts that, of course, makes this heartfelt piece full of "love-aches". Nice imagery.

I think many that have experienced a relationship like this can relate to your words. Best not to look back, but keep moving forward.

Sexual urges are no way to get together with someone. If love is not part of the plan, it is bound for failure.
