A Love Song

One of the first poems I´ve written in Budapest.

Please write me a love song

You told me last night

and I grabbed a piece of paper and sat down to write

But the only words that formed were, this ain't right

Hasn´t been in so long

I can't write you a love song

I´m sorry

I told you last night

No logic explanation, we had a big fight

The words that formed between us were full of despite

Everything felt wrong

I can't write you a love song

Please write me a love song

You told me last night

and I grabbed your love and held it tight

We were picked up and dropped from a great height

Now you are gone

So I can't write you a love song
