Master Monarch

Master Monarch

A Poem by Johannes Fahrion

Master Monarch

He came to me once again,

dark, powerful and unannounced.

Bold and confident, searing,

the virgin birth of my thoughts.

Sinews, memories,

tangled and strewn,

stitching pieces of the boy,

with puzzles of the man.

Unwelcomed and uninvited,

this bruising tenant, demanding,

attention by threat and torture,

bound by  darkness, he relishes agony.

I serve the Master Monarch,

thrusting one thought, uncontrolled,

against another in exquisite confusion,

as pain and clarity spill into terror.

And I plead mercy, free me,

of this fire burning my past, alight,

where my voice and my Master Monarch,

are conjoined twins.

I live in several of the writing craft arenas. I'm yet unpublished, but quite honestly I haven't done a bloody thing to market myself. It seems I should initiate the foreplay now. So, I write books, s.. more..
