Autumnal Decision

Autumnal Decision

A Poem by JohnKeisler
"

A poem about a deceased friend

"
I got your back
No knifes will pass
Your loyalty or lack
thereof will always be a guess

Whoever decides that autumn has come
Dies first.

Autumnal leaves will bear an eulogy for a deceased self
The one who was a poor student of life.

Whoever reads it first
Becomes reborn.

Author's Note

JohnKeisler
Hello, everyone! I only dabble in poetry, but I'm pretty serious about research writing in which I habitually engage on students' behalf. I encourage you to check a heartfelt essay on relationships I have recently wrote for a sophomore. I hope you like reading it at least half as much as I enjoyed writing it.
