The Human curse

The Human curse

A Poem by John Hanafin
"

My thoughts on depression , existence and personal battles

"
Depression my Son
That all consuming
Despair
Why is it stronger
Dominates
The hope
That is rare
My ear rings!
More now than before
My Son won't exist
The thought of him
Vanishes like a mist
What if there is no Soul?
And were just self aware?
My life has the same value as a
Mole
Is that fair?
Probably be a relief
If there is nothing after this
Save any further grief
