Rise

Rise

A Poem by Johnmuldoon
"

Emotion, love, hope, fear

"
It is only in the quest of a quiet moment that my grief surfaces to murmur

The tether feels looser now still and the gravity of the jump springs to mind.

Yet in these brighter times I'll feel a wrong a misplaced pillow or an ill timed song

There is only room for one on the journey doomed for failure.

I steady my quiver and I prepare to jump

I have never tried to be a writer. This took 15 seconds to write. My grammar is poor.

wonderfully descriptive
vivid telling of the tension before a jump
a leap into some unknown
you could use a comma after wrong in the third line i think
but other than that
a good piece
