![]() Five nights at freddy's, chapter 1.A Chapter by Jon RabbitTail![]() Mike schmidt is about to apply for a job, will he get it?![]() Mike Schmidt opened his eyes. It was 7 am. It was another fucked up day in his fucked up life. He threw the covers off of him. He got up from the white matrass and rubbed his eyes. All of the remaining sleep went away. He yawned and got up for a shower. Mike wasn't the brightest person, he knew that. Something he also knew was that he was going to need a job, or else he would not be able to support his wife, Maria, and his kids. Mike Jr and James. Those were the only things he really valued in life anymore. The water ran down his head, over his face and the rest of his body, down the drain. He wished the water would wash away all his problems, but he had no such luck. He was almost out of money, he had missed the rent already once. The only money he had left was the money in his wallet, ten dollars. Mike had been searching for a job for about a month now, but he had had no luck, only rejections. He had only one chance left, a job his wife found for him. She had found it the day before today, she had taken a red pen and put a huge circle around the article. Mike had read the, the ad said: "Help wanted Freddy Fazbear's pizza Family pizzaria looking for nightgaurd to work the nightshift from 12 am to 6 am. Montior cameras, ensure safety of equipment and anamatronic characters. Not responsible for injury/dismemberment $120 a week. To apply, call 1-800-FAE-FAZBEAR" Now, Mike Schmidt may not be a smart man, but he was sure he could 'monitor cameras' . After all, he had to, it was the last job that hadn't turned him down yet. The
same day his wife found the ad was the same day he called
1-800-FAE-FAZBEAR. To his suprise, the nice lady on the phone had
asked him to come in for a talk. Which was why he was up at 7 am to
take a shower. He got out of the shower and dried himself with a towel. After that he put on his white shirt and some suitpants. Then he styled his short black hair with some hairgel. Last but not least he put on his button-up shirt with a tie. A simple black and purple tie. He looked at himself in the mirror, aside from the bags under his bloodshot eyes he didn't look too bad.
'Well don't you look lovely,' his wife Maria said. She entered the bathroom in a simple purple bathrobe, her red hair flowing loosely over her shoulders. Mike kissed his wife goodbye as he left the bathroom. He knew that his wife wouldn't be finished by the time it took him to eat his breakfast.
Mike
headed downstairs, towards his breakfast. It was in the kitchen
waiting for him, a delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It
took all his might not to jump towards the counter. The few steps it
took him to reach the sandwich seemed like an eternity.
He put on his black coat and a baseball cap, then he headed out the door. The busstop wasn't too far away, about fifteen minutes of walking. Mike liked walking, it took his mind off things. Not totday though, for all he could think about was Freddy Fazbear's pizzaria.
A 120 dollar a week wasn't much, but it was a lot more than 0 dollar a week. Atleast now Mike Jr and James would have proper meals.
As a kid Mike would never really enjoy all the anamatronics that the pizzarias had. He always found them scary, he thought they were going to eat them. Now that he was older he knew that those were just silly things that kids think.
Or were they?
Mike was just in time to catch the bus, he got in. Ofcourse all the seats were taken, so he had to stand.
He hated the bus, it was always full of people. Usually smelly, nasty, mean people. Mike didn't enjoy being around people a lot, his family was an exception.
Today was no exception, he could smell sweat and a lot of different deoderants. The smell made his nose wrinkle. It was almost so bad that he had to throw up, or were those the nerves? No, it couldn't be. After all, he had been rejected many times.
After what was the longest hour in Mike's life, the bus finally stopped at his stop. He pushed his way through all the smelly people in this bus, then he finally set his foot outside. It felt nice to breath fresh air again.
He looked at the pizzaria, that just happened to be across the busstop. It didn't seem too bad from the outside. With a deep breath he walked inside.
He was greeted by the sound of anamatronics singing a happy song. The song went paired with the laughing and screaming of happy children. He saw children chasing eachother, their parents were watching while sitting at their tables. The smell of pizza entered his nostrils, making his stomache rumble. He put his hand over his stomach to calm the beast.
Trying not to look at the anamatronics, he walked over to a cleaner. A boy, not older than 16 with red hair and freckles was wearing a disgusting yellow hat and a black apron. He was cleaning the floor with a mob that was just about as skinny as he was.
'Uhm, excuse me.' Mike made the boy look up in anger. The nametag on his apron said 'Matt.'
'What?' Matt said, not on his nicest tone.
'I'm looking for Miss Jenny, I have a job interview?'
'Sure, whatever. I'll go get her.' The boy put his mob in the bucket and walked away, a little later he returned, a little lady was walking shortly behind him. 'This dude said he has a job interview.'
'Ah yes, that's right. Mister Schmidt, right?'
'That's right.' 'Come, we will discuss this in my office.'
They walked through the halls of the building. The happy sounds of the main hall slowly faided away, making room for a deafening silence. They finally reached the office of Miss Jenny. A red door with a window that had the letters 'Don't enter.'
'Please, do enter, Mister Schmidt.'
Mike did as he was told, he walked into the office. It was a small office, it had a desk with two chairs opposite of eachother, on the desk was a computer. Other than an office plant there wasnt a lot in the offce. Mike sat on the chair, waiting for Miss Jenny to start the interview.
'So, mister Schmidt. Why do you want this job?'
'I have a wife and two childrens. I really need to support them. I'm down to my last ten dollars.'
'Anything else?'
'I'm at home the entire day, it gets boring. I need something to do.'
'Those sound like good reasons. Is there any reason why we shouldn't hire you?'
'I can't think of any.' Mike could think of plenty, but that was not why he came here. He would not get rejected again.
'Well in that case.' Miss Jenny extended her hand. 'You got the job. Congratulations.' © 2015 Jon RabbitTail
