Here Alone

Here Alone

A Poem by Patience

Here alone I sit, the house is quiet and dark, I'm so very lonely, my world is falling apart.

My daughter isn't home, has gone away with friends, owe how I miss her, I can't wait till evening begins.

My husband is at work, putting in a long day, then he will come

Home, with not very much to say.

We eat dinner as a family, ask joelina about her day, then everyone disperses and goes there separate ways. I truly never imagined, my world would come to this, sitting all alone, all I can do is reminisce.
Why did I have to get sick, why did my personality have to change, why was my
Appearance affected , in such a negative way. What I would do to
Go back to the old me, reclaim my old life and my family.
I can't help but to feel blame for everyone affected, by my ever changed life, my anxiety and depression. Here alone I sit, the house is quiet, and dark, no one to
Talk to, my world falling apart.
