Hot Rain in the DesertA Poem by Jonjon

I jumped up at what could be, A miracle service served for free, The server eagerly peeked to see results, Pain or pleasure was wondered the most, Frozen knees began melting in the sand, Memories of a thousand pleas for this demand, Centuries suffering in this hot hell, Traveled endlessly even time could not tell, Throat's so parched that it blazingly burns, With swallowed sand that bathed in the sun, Heat evaporated fluids from my eyes now dry, Mercilessly seizing all the cold tears i cried, Blind in sight with no path of relief, No windy breeze, nor treats to eat, Starved of sleep as stars comfort other's dreams, Peace of mind shattered by my silent screams, Im witnessing splashes of what my dreams would be, Pouring hot on my flesh like this sand underneath, Is this truly real, Or have i been proven ill, Walking with a broken will. © 2017 JonjonAuthor's Note
