Venting

Venting

A Poem by Jordan Haley Nadja Black

The skys a deep blue
Like the walls of my room
Made out of rotten wood
And a broken tooth
A sight for all eyes
Though made just for yours
A reality for us
That ceased even to be my own

... excruciating ... "a reality for us" ... "that ceased even to be my own" ... for me ... as a reader ... is also a biting and powerful reflection of the delusional times we live in ... what is projected and perpetuated is so not what "is" ... a remarkable verse ... potent and striking ... (highest rating) ...
