Tasting Starlight

Tasting Starlight

A Poem by Jordan Haley Nadja Black

The night calls for me
" come out to play"
It calls this sound out everyday
Pretty, pretty neon lights
Attract my eyes and shine starlight
I'm strolling down on Hollywood boulevard
Watching the cars
And living like rock stars
Talent-less wannabe
Elongated arms
Opening doors with their horror etched palms
I've seen to much of this life
I've been around to many times
Dreaming into your blue eyes
The sky is not the limit
When there are footprints on the moon
I'm afraid I've figured this out
All the more to soon
