Ruby Waters

Ruby Waters

A Poem by Joanne Jayne
"

Another section of a song written by me many years ago. This is a piano section to another song.

"
I am the water
It is my grave
Bloodshed a crimson ocean
I am foam upon the waves

I am floating for a lifetime
In oceans tears I bathe
Still searching for salvation
I am foam upon the waves

I will linger here forever
My resting place
Drowning soul and body broken
Tortured deep beneath my surface

"I am foam upon the waves" .. It's certainly one of my fav. lines. It sounds like: A body's being floating .. ov'r the templates of linen waters & the spirit's waved by the rush of its droplets. Very beautiful insights your creative mind has got. You surely hit your head quite hard to choose your words/verses/chords. Wonderful song. Enjoyed reading it!
