Tree

A small paragraph that I wrote in my journal whilst visiting a forest in the Lake District.

Thick red trunks thrust out of the earth. Giant arms laced with tendons hewn of russet hue. A veined tapestry oozing sap and adorned with moss. Crowned with the helms of the immortal.
