A card Game with Beelzebub

A card Game with Beelzebub

A Poem by Josh Anderson
"

Live sometimes feels like a game of chance with the devil

"
Give me a moment just to clear my mind
Another second lost in time
A second breath to escape my lips
As I'm on the edge of this precipice
Wondering if I should test my faith

Give me reason why I can't move on
Is it something perhaps done wrong
The many missteps that I've made
A wrong hand maybe played
In a card game with Beelzebub

Give me a chance to set things right
Before I'm buried in the sands of time
As my chances slip further from my grip
I find no star upon whom to make a wish
To maybe carry on

I believe that many of us artist/writers understand the concept of feeling buried in the silence of our world. I also believe that we all worry about our life path and if we are on the right path, do we have time to fix our mistakes. It is never to late until you breath your last.
