Photograph

Another poem about doing what you want to do but also to cherish the time you have on earth and live as you want to.

Different people have different memories.

Some are soft and light,

Like a fluffy, fur coat.

Some are extreme and bright,

Like a downhill mountain slope.

Some keep them safe forever,

Some just capture the moment.

I prefer to think mine are like photographs.

Beautiful images that bring you to a different place.

You see this picture and a million thoughts,

Rush through your head.

But photographs can fade like a photograph.

Can memories do that too?

I think this is why I take photographs.

I take more and more, over and over.

I don't care what I take or how many I have,

Even when the camera can't take anymore photos,

Keep pressing the button regardless of the protest.

Just enjoy taking the picture.

Plants, animals, fields, people, places, buildings,

Anything I can see in front of me,

I will make it a photograph.

Just remember to capture the moment.

I live life like a cameraman,

I take pictures of what is in front off me all the time.

It doesn't matter what it is or where it is.

It's just that you caught it.

Because to me life is like a photograph,

Its not about the quality of the picture,

Its not about how great you are at taking the picture,

Its the fact that you took time to capture this and every other moment,

This is what photography is about,

This is what living is about.

Capture the moment and you can never go wrong.
