Ragnarok

Ragnarok

A Poem by Peyton

Lava stare I beseech you,

Melt me down,

And suffer me briefly for I fear

the falling

feather,

and its cold, lifeless,

drop.

A slave of the wind.

What is this Ragnarok that f***s with my brain cells?

Pitting dopamine versus serotonin in a draconian c**k-fight for a single day's happiness.

Ragnarok, I say, so abusive, intrusive and starved for attention that I'm compelled only to yearn,

Yes, yearn!

For that lava stare.

Melting.

me.

down.

This is amazing poetry. You used the language with skill and balance. You create vision and mental state in the words that create thoughts for the reader to ponder. The poem held me to the last words and made me wish to know more. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
