Dreaming

my grandfather has Alzheimer's disease and I had a dream a few nights ago. In my dream he was cured of this terrible brain-cell eating disease.

I had a dream about you last night

I had a dream that you were back to normal

You remembered me

You talked to me

You knew who I was

My name

My age

My relationship to you

You knew me as your grandson

You could walk

You could show emotion

You knew you loved me

You didn't hallucinate

You didn't have that blank stare in your eyes

You remembered your life before

You were not in a wheel chair

You weren't in a nursing home

You weren't mumbling nonsense

You weren't reliant on nurses

You weren't sickly skinny

You were working

You were laughing

You were happy

You were the you that  I have always know
