An ode to the spirit of a small town

"
Still waters of mine, crystal serene
Sparkling in autumnal air
If this town is a river my heart is the sea
Filled by the currents we share

Some mornings I rise, pack up and leave
And seek treasure in oceans away
Sail until dusk, return in the eve
Where the tranquil spirit with patience awaits
