As she stood,
The knife getting closer to her throat,
Thoughts came about,
A hallucination she had before,

Standing in the light,
A voice in the midst of night,
So faint and far,
Yet so near,

Her hand reaching for nothing,
Her mind uttering words unheard,
Her eyes tearing,
Her hands and legs still shaking,

She looked around,
And with that knife in her hand,
She....
Woke up,

Only to know..
It was all a nightmare dream,
And never was suicide the best attempt...
