Crestfallen ( S**t Faced )

Crestfallen ( S**t Faced )

A Poem by JustAlex

Touched by the blessing of being a failure

I'm delirious to the touch

I'm a precious dissatisfactory from above

That's why he sent me down here

to tread on the earth with a path of dissatisfaction to all that touches me

I have been crestfallen.

I waded through the feathers of fallen angels and never considered their pain

I never thought of looking into the cool blue water of your eyes

Never considering the currents that ran beneath

I sorrow in the fragrance of cherries and lilacs

I'm a dissatisfactory to all

All eyes on waves

Every wave is different but in the end they always come crashing down

Washing away the pretty shells and rocks that we wanted to be.

I have been crestfallen.

I cocked the gun took my aim, nothing came out but scribbles

Ive been touched with failure

the sweet fragrance of regret

Please Poseidon take me away?

If god doesn't want me, then you will be my new father

Let the waves

Claim me as your little mermaid

and take my feathers away.

This poem is the quintessential definition of the forsaken.
The unpolished nature of it all, neglecting politically correct
formalities made it a raw brutally honest portrait. I felt the
despair and took a glimpse into the pit of this black hole, but
still wonder what dark matter exists that stitches this existence
together. Your words are violent (emotions attacking without any
sign of inhibition)...but the things you never said are just as important.

Lexi....

This is very ominous and powerful. I read it 3 times just to try and get what you are saying....i hope you are ok? :0)

Good poetry though. You are a definite flair!
