Fear

Fear

A Poem by JennaMarie
"

...

"
cold
creeping
silently, swiftly moving
forward
backward
everywhere and nowhere

a light
shadows
breath slips away
replaced with gasps
then nothing

symphonies crash and roar
fall silent under the weight
lives barely begun
fade, sink, disappear

the burning subsides
a hand reaches
and pulls back
aware of the coming moments
then darkness and peace

This is great.
I really love the flow of thought here.
I love the line:
'symphonies crash and roar
fall silent under the weight'.
Well done.
:)
