In The Clouds

Everyone is loved, somewhere somehow :)

 

I compliment the open skies,

 

As its warmness envelopes me,

 

I breathe the brisk air,

 

As your voice teases my happiness,

 

into a long rope of sweet memories.

 

Bristling tingles electrify my arm,

 

As you gently brush my skin.

 

Our melody,

 

Of soft spoken words,

 

guides me to the clouds,

 

Where I sit and watch,

 

As you bless others with your contagious smile,

 

and loosen the roots of the sad flower.

 

The sun learns,

 

as we teach him warmness,

 

The royal gem,

 

Holds no rarity to the way we sparkle.

 

I will lay in this soft brush of feathers,

 

with my heart resting,

 

waiting for our time to be together,

 

Until a day all pain is forgotten,

 

and our past is the past,

 

as we embrace the future,

 

happily, blissfully, forgotten.

Beautiful , maybe you will laugh at me but i never fell in love before not yet,

the very thing that made me think that was the different colored ink, and then the pattern that the different colors or in. It's the way that is written. No one else might see this, perhaps it's just me, however it detracted form poem a bit. it's a great poem.

Oh I'm sorry, I just like bright colors :) I can definitely see how it is distracting, but it was just a light hearted poem I wrote- so I'm okay with it not being taken too seriously. But thank you for your opinion, and your review :)
