stars and honey

stars and honey

A Poem by Jordan Varner

I like to keep just a pinch of stars in my pocket
so that when dusk comes I can light up the world
and all that once seemed dim
is now showered in light

I like to keep a handful of summer rain in my boots
so that when the drought comes
I've got a bit of that familiar life bringing nectar
like honey from my lips

Wow. I like your thoughts. This poem says more about your nature how to like to light up other's world and want to see others happy. I like it..
