Promises

Promise you won't ever go,
that you'll never hurt me.
Promise you won't ever bring me low,
this is the way we're always gonna be.

I promise all that and more,
I promise you forever my heart is yours.
I promise that my parents will not get in the way,
I promise you I won't hide anything away.

I know you'll keep your word, just as I'll keep mine,
for thats what we do.
I know that we'll prove them wrong, and we'll shine,
because with our love, its impossible not to.
