You'll Never Know

You'll Never Know

A Poem by Just Plain Me

You'll never know the girl I am,
though you had a part in making me.
You have never shown any interest,
though if it weren't for you, I'd never be.

You'll never see what I make of myself,
though I've always been right in front of you.
You used to at least pretend to care,
though that's about all you could do.

You'll never be the father I wanted,
though you're the father I got.
You have always blamed me for you life,
though when asked, you say that I'm not.

You'll never get the the daughter you see,
though it's not like you look that hard.
You have never said sorry for breaking my heart,
though even if you did, to you it'd still be barred.

I'll never accept you as my father,
though your blood runs through my veins.
I don't need you anymore,
though I wish you'd try to fix my pains.

This is sad, feelings so well expressed. Amazing flow and rhyme scheme.
