And I Am Afraid

When I reference the summer of 2011, this is what I mean. I honestly was at my lowest point of sanity, and really thought demons were watching me and infiltrating my life.

(The shadows stir)
A quick glance,
Nothing there,
Naught but air,
(Moving closer)
Gone ere I turn,
Causing my blood to burn,
(A chill breath)
Lingering a moment,
I'm certain that it's real,
These demons I now feel,
(A whisper in the room)
Haunted,
By their actions I am taunted,
(Of a sudden, I find)
They disappear,
It's now that I fear,
(It was all in my mind)
 
My nightmares come alive.
