As Long as I

As Long as I

A Poem by klewis
"

Living recklessly and ignoring the rest.

"
Move along this abandoned road
Alone, unheard, measured and slow
Memories long left behind, deny
As long as I walk, this hope will not die

Waiting to learn from mistakes in the past
Live in the moment, because it won`t last
Taught by the flowers that sweeten my breath
As long as I smile, I won`t stop for death

Follow curiosity as I was designed
Dance upon dangers that beat me blind
Cling to Love`s limbs, hope they won`t give
As long as I`m dreaming, my dream will still live
