Never Giving Up

This is a poem i wrote a long time ago. Some friends were telling me about their relationship problems and that made me write this. Everyone i've shown it to loves it, so i though i'd put it on here.

Never Giving Up

 

You’ve told me that it’s over

You’ve told me there’s nothing I can do

But what you cannot forget

Is everything that we’ve been through

You’ve told me your unhappy

You’ve told me you’ve moved on

But the one thing that cannot be changed

Is the powerful strength of our bond

You’ve told me to go home

You’ve told me not to cry

But how can I not

When I must tell my lover, good-bye?

You look me straight in the eyes

And ask me why I won’t let us break up

I stare straight back at you

                                   And tell you that I’m never giving up

Very strong poem this is, and that is true, never give up. Once you give up, then you lose. Very good poem.
