Who helped turn so many away from their strife;

You've sailed 'round the world, and the world is now yours,

To walk steady onward, and open new doors;

Who found the true other, and peace did you lend;

You've done such a thing, as few ever achieve,

To pull someone close, the heart you'll never leave;

 

Oh Father, the Father, The Father of Worth,

Who cared for two children and showed them the earth;

You taught and you watched, and sowed a great seed,

And your progeny now, they will take up the lead;

 

Oh Comrade, the Comrade, The Comrade to All,

Who befriended so many, and answered their call;

You've made your mark clear, and we'll never forget,

The way you’ve touched lives, and the standard you set;

 

Oh Captain, my Captain, The Captain of Life,
