Single Always

Single Always

A Poem by Gabrielle

Heavy weight presses down upon me

Chest heaving growing unsteady

Tunes cause affliction, they paralyzed me

Speaking no truths, seems the best remedy

to the de ja vu, dizzy growing dizzy

Disaster, I can't imagine you without me

Heavy, so slowly we grow all through the white

And no one knows that I am alone tonight.

God, you are so beautiful when you smile

God, you are so beautiful once and awhile

Goddess, my queen, I want to be your king

Goddess, sing, sing of everything

Heavy, heavy weight, medicated, medicale

Needles, stitch me up doctor with medicine

And sing away these scars with your healing

Call to me once, dear, I am a ghost

Call to me once, dear, I am not lost

I am not lost, I am not lost I am not lost

I am not lost I am not lost ever again

Single, single sweet nineteen

Single, single means everyone and everything

Single, single means I am free from this falling

Falling falling in love

Falling

Falling falling in love

No me, no you,

Just anyone can do

No me, no you

you know just anyone would do

Just anyone would do

Anyone would do.

Anyone would do.

Wow, what powerful poem! Mixed with a tone of an inner monologue that was--in the abstract--schizophrenic.
The pain in this work was powerful, and your word choices were intense, and apropo for the theme you were conveying.
Quite excellent!
