Angels on Earth

This poem is for everyone who has faith and believes in love, freedom, and the Angels.

Angels watch over me, I pray for your divine consonance
angels watch over me, guard me from intolerance
angels watch over me, show them the way of life
angels watch over me, pave the sky with light

stars are falling as teardrops from his eyes
majestic angels flutter above and swoop over our lives
bringing presents of gold and joy from their sweet dreams
bringing us hope for a brighter future no matter the seeds

we'll water our flowers and blossom like wishes
we'll follow our hearts and find peace in our senses
we'll inspire and motivate all the people we touch
we'll drink our holy offering, strengthened so much

angels overheard me and angels always saw
angels knew we needed them, through us we're invincible
angels are immortal, they know how much they're worth
angels are important, they rule planet earth

stars like diamonds fall from her eyes
we'll follow the golden promises till the last
we'll never forget the strength of love and journeys past
we'll follow the earth in waves as she dreams

we'll circle the sun for the soul who never sleeps
we'll turn the tables and we'll open their eyes
for we are wide awake, for we are in the skies
for we are fallen angels, for we believe in love

and as we walk the earth with our hearts in our hands
we'll show them what it means until they truly understand
