A Mother's Love. TM

A Mother's Love. TM

A Poem by KallGraham

Try, though you may

escape, you shall never,

the ever-lasting dismay,

of this obligatory endeavor.

The implied "love" that you feel,

that in which, you are taught,

is merely expression of self-interest,

influenced, by their pretense in thought.

Mommy and Daddy, are an illusion.

Their "love," is nothing more then pride.

The very day, which you were born,

they all laughed, while you cried.

At the obedience of their demands,

they will shower you with "love."

Bending backwards at their expectations,

place no one above.

Your existence is nothing more,

then vicarious accomplishing of goals.

Just a mere extension,

of their self-acclaimed "roles."

"We will always love you."

Exercise your best, to remember that.

Perhaps one day, you may too,

enforce your own, primordial TRAP!
