ANIMAL; Def: Property?

ANIMAL; Def: Property?

A Poem by KallGraham

Your selfish pride

Fuels their misconception.

Pre-conditioned "equality"

Built upon mannerism correction.

You devour their nature

With self-implied meaning.

Audaciously you domesticate

Upon their world's greeting.

They know not the difference

of their existence, tis sad.

A collar around the neck.

Bodily functions on a "pad."

A disgusting "given" name

Inclusive of a false sense of "home."

Blindly, you design their reality

Upon a basis, all your own.

An animal? What of it?

Precious life, none-the-less.

Yet still you steal their actuality.

Insist upon earth, they're a mere pet.
