Broken Promise

Our words sometimes hide secret meanings inside them.

My words were clear:

I love you, not as a friend, but, as a woman.

Still, you didn't realise, all I wanted to say was:

I need you to leave, for you are more than pain is.

I didn't mean to hurt you,

I never will

but even in this way I found shelter and hid my soul

I felt as if I am a nice human being.

You were great, I can tell, you always wanted to stay by my side.

But I cannot, even if your life was mine.

For you were the loved one of my dearest friend.

really i don't thing anything could be more painful than to see ur love with none but ur own friend in life ..and with an amazing rhythm,loved it a totally touching and meaningful poetry !
