Heroin My Heroine

Heroin My Heroine

A Poem by Sea Light

For the longest time I have been sitting here in the dark
Living in a long never ending life of misery
Burying my head within my hands to forget my life’s history

Then you came along
You reached out to me in a vision of white
You illuminated my blackened sight

You took my hands in yours
You led me past unseen, unknown visions of color and light
We flew past them as if we were in flight
I’m not scared
Of visions we share

You turn to me
I have never seen a more lovely face
You smile a kind smile
My hearts falls out of my chest into the deepest reaches of space

You close your eyes and you give me a dose of your sugar sweet kiss
I am in euphoric bliss
I just want to stay in your arms forever
Forever

She saved my life from the abyss
She saved me with her sugar sweet kiss
You gave me euphoric bliss
