Normal is what normal does

They say its easy to be normal. Just like everyone and be a caring, thoughtful person. Say please and thank you. Don't do things over extravagant. Blend in but also stand out. Don't over do anything but also don't under do it. Me, I just try to keep sane. I put on a mask to hide my true self. I wear a costume to put my feelings behind me. I laugh even if I think it is not funny. I cry even if I think it is not sad. I go through my day to day activities as would any other person, hoping it will change. But knowing it won't.
