Soul Mate

Soul Mate

A Poem by Kat Collins

Deep blue mysterious pools,
Losing me in their depths.
Floating, lost.
Sandy, blonde, soft as spun silk,
Sliding through my fingers.
But those eyes,
That strong, piercing gaze.
Catches you like a deer frozen in headlights.
Too difficult to pull away.
Much easier to just give in,
Lose myself
And let him see my soul.
