Nothingness

Metallic and lifeless, silver lips, a mechanical heart pulsing out

Worthless drumbeats, in an absence of blood you spit

Battery acid and drown in a lake of your own emptiness.

 

 

Reality pours down its daggers, a dull storm of grey pain,

You block it all out minute by minute and pill after

Pill, will it all go away, will they take it away?

 

 

Before the machine takes over, a pulsating shard of heart

Beneath the steel, the stars fade in rusted scrap metal

Delusions of grandeur, you overdose on dead silence,

 

 

Let the last nerve ending fizzle out, burnt flashbulbs in your

Skull, the glowing brand of failure, some like it cold and they

Kill it inside.

killing the brain cells with drugs...but it is a kind of euphoria...a death better than the depressing life being lived.

this is really dark, and heavy....and Good.
