Wasps

Wasps

A Poem by KatDarkness

Wings of destruction, droning a drumbeat of insanity,

Crawling in flashes of black and yellow, disgusting

Creatures, multiplying like nightmares.

The noise, the static buzzing, it fills my head and

Drags me under the waves of madness; jabbed by

A million smooth and silver stings,

They worm into my dreams and eat them away

Like maggots, leaving only rot and

Dark decaying fantasies
