Nightmare

Nightmare

A Poem by Kate Henderson

Last night I dreamed I killed you
I couldn't let you live
I had all night to will you
I'm obsessive
I know all about your ways
Subtle whispers told me
How you run your nights and days
I thought you had died before
But you ran fast bloody faced
When I caught you
Lost in death's embrace
Awaken in gory crimson screaming
I realized that I was never dreaming

Dark and gory! A nightmare that turns into...a living nightmare! Nice ending! ~ Robert.
