Helpless

Just a little something for one of the most important people in my life

You scream my name
as you slow make another cut

I can't come running
as i'm so far away

You cry for me again
as you make another deep cut

I wish i could wipe away the tears
and get rid of all the pain

I feel so helpless
knowing i can't come running as you cry for me

Curled up in a ball in my dark room
knowing what you are doing and not being able to be there
is killing me inside, i've never felt so helpless

I'm wiping away my own tears knowing that one day
you may go to far and i'll never see your face or hear your voice again
&+ i will blame myself.

You call my name
hoping i'll come running but i can't
i'm too far away which is leaving me helpless.

I wait for a text or phone call of you
&+ i don't recieve either scares me so much
i worry you've gone to far and i feel so helpless.

I love you phillip
i am here for you i always will be
i just wish i didn't feel so helpless knowing i can't be there with you in person
