Finding Another Me

This story tells a story of a teenage boy trying to find out what he wants and discovers that his identity is a lie, while going through the motions of depression,misery, and love.

Chapter One

The worst thing anyone can do is hide who you really are and being someone you're not. But what if that life was covered in a lie! A black boy named Carlton Hamilton with Sapphire blue eyes who lives in the Bronx of New York who's seventeen years - old and he has a secret; he's a talented writer! Carlton never told anyone about his writing talent because he thought no one cared for it, even if he tried to share anything with his friends something he wrote, they would laugh at him, including when he asked his parents to read something he wrote they were too busy for him. He then kept it to himself and tried to be someone else entirely, being someone who makes other people accepting what they expect of him. This was a great disadvantage.

All that was going to change! At school, Carlton stood at his locker door and opened it by a master lock combination. Inside was a composition notebook and he began to write a poem with his favorite black click pen his grandmother gave him. He flipped the cover and turned some pages and found a blank page to write on. He began to write: 

Of war and darkness has arose , the fear of life like a bloody rose. 

In the garden I ought to find, a shadow follows from behind. 

I rose and I fell I am not Titanium, but I am now in my oblivion...
