Nostalgia

Nostalgia

A Poem by Kaylie

Your presence remains
Even if your body is elsewhere
Every trace of my sanity has left with you
Won't you come back?

Days upon days I mourn the loss of your touch
Weep at the lack of your warm, soft body
Flesh against flesh
The perfect equation

Our chemistry is not to be denied
Our fingers lock,
Our bodies intertwine,
Like perfect puzzle pieces we simply fit

Incomplete and torn
I'm lost running in circles, trying to find you
Can you hear my softening voice?

Each day without you I lose my pride, strength, honor
I'm stuck,alone,trapped
You're the key
The only one who can save me
From the desolation of my own mind

I like the way you make this work. It is a jumpy flow but once you get into it it really works x

I like it. May I suggest a change in order .. perhaps I'm wanting to be more chronological, but to me the third verse ("Our chemistry...") should be first and your first verse should be last .. ending with the question. Just a thought .. see what you think when rearranged, I think it might just flow a little better.
