TELL ME NO

TELL ME NO
Tell me no
Tell me the blue sea hasn't lost its wave
Tell me no
Tell me iya 'beji didn't loose her kiosk to the ravaging fire
Tell me no

Tell me the fame we all clamour for
isn't wat put others thru pain
Tell me no
Tell me the police man
Wasn't the one who stole our fish
Tell me no

Tell me the creative lady
Hasn't lost her passion for drawing
In search of a banking job
Tell me no

Tell me d giant clock
Hasn't lost its pendulum
Tell me no
Alas, I see the gleam of hope we had
fading away
Though I see it
But please
Tell me no.

Nice flow of thoughts. You left the reader with something to think about. The description in the poem open the door to thoughts and possibilities. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

A good poem, sir with good use of repetition. If you would write complete words- like writing "through" instead of "thru"- then your poem would be better. A little bit of rhyming may work well too. But, a nice poem.

I'm not sure if this your scheme .... It is a wonderful poem..... I was looking for a heart snatching pull of words ..... Maybe you should consider writing something more personal to you..... This poem leaves me wanting to know who you are any why should you be told no...... You have some spelling error..... Not sure if that's what you were going for..... Over all.... Very decent poem... Keep at it..... You will get better with time and situations .....
