Adrift

Adrift

A Poem by KeeD
"

For the unfortunate victims of MH 370, both on the plane and at home. My heart goes out to you.

"

Adrift the ocean floor

I searched for you

Every effort met with a closed door

I seek an answer

I question the fish nearby

They're lost too , as they wish to find you

You fell out of the pocket of clouds

As the world went quiet

With the absence of your sound

You wish to be found

Reunited on familiar ground

But the selfish tide, she hides you away

It has been plenty a day

come home already

Help us find a way

Adrift are you even further than before

Like a lighthouse of hope I search the shore

Waiting to hold you in my arms once more

If you're not coming home tonight

I'll see you in the terminal of paradise

Till then I'll endure these sleepless nights

the title draw me in because I have a poem under the same one, but oh... I didn't expect this! again, Your opining verse is deeply heartfelt, and now after finishing reading Your poem, I think more of Your title... how it's truly touch the depth of the whole situation, tugging our hearts, and I also feel that You've reached into the victims and their families with a moving and strong images, no one can fully understand but those whom were/are under the same circumstances, though this is from years ago, but still the tragedies unfortunately happen... how sad, how sad...

I know, their Souls have found the peace, I pray for their families, its not easy to get through this kind of tragic situation even if long years passed, may their hearts be blessed with hopeful faithful light.

After reading your poems, i think you are just a fantastic writer! I loved this. I mean you take these simple ideas that i can relate to but take them to this whole new level and you enrich them. I really loved 'I seek an answer

This was so beautiful and romantic. It could make any woman's heart just melt to the point where she feels like a girl again. Xo Winter

Kee, this is such a lovely, heart touching tribute. What happened to this flight is horrific and honestly quite scary, all those people who have died because of it... Your opening stanza was fantastic.
